Dundrum Adult Training Education (D.A.T.E.)

D.A.T.E. is a local voluntary committee who work in partnership with South Dublin Adult Education Service to provide a wide range of Morning Adult Education courses.

More than 60 classes are provided each term, ranging from Art, Classical Studies, Computers, Writers Groups, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Irish,  Crafts, History of Art, Music Appreciation, Genealogy, Philosophy, Politics, English Literature, Tai Chi and Yoga.

Brochures are available from the Adult Education Centre, Unit 2, 5th Floor, Dundrum Town Centre, CAFE (College for Adult & Further Education), Sydenham Road, Dundrum, local shops, libraries, and post offices and at the Customer Service Desk in the Dundrum Town Centre.

All courses are fee paying, with special rates for senior citizens on production of a travel pass.


These classes are generally held in the D.A.T.E.  Centre, 5th Floor, Dundrum Town Centre with a few exceptions taking place in Dom Marmion Hall, Sandyford Road.

Enrolment details

Enrolment takes place twice yearly, in early September and January on the 5th Floor, Dundrum Town Centre (take the lift or stairs at the Tesco end to Floor 5), with classes commencing a fortnight after this.
